La Cité du Vin – Bordeaux Wine Museum

Bordeaux Wine Museum is a huge building in the form of bulbs, located on the embankment of the Garonne. It was built by the Paris bureau XTU Architects and is open to the public at the end of May 2016. All this is connected with an unusual exhibition hall, reminiscent of caves and an impressive viewing tower 55 meters high. According to the developers, this should lead to an association with the process of wine extraction into the glass and with the continuous flow of water in the river.

Museum of Apoxiomen, Croatia

The interior design of the Museum of Apoxiomen was developed by Idis Tturato and Saša Randić. Apoxyomenon is a bronze sculpture of an athlete, which was found in 1996 in the vicinity of Mali Losinj, a town in Croatia on the island of Losinj. Work on the preservation and restoration of this unique discovery lasted six years.

After the work, the statue visited numerous exhibitions in Croatia, as well as in such famous museums as the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence, the Louvre in France, the British Museum in London and the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. Seventeen years later, Apoxiomen was returned to Mali Lošinj and placed in a museum designed specifically for him.
