Lobby

When you arrive at Covet House Douro you will start the tour in the lobby, here you will be able to admire several luxury design pieces that fit perfectly in this mediterranean influenced home. For example, the Sinuous Patina console table by Boca do Lobo fits perfectly in the decor with its mahogany exterior. A lighting piece that makes a big impression in the lobby is the Janis floor lamp by Delightfull and the Venice mirror also by Boca do Lobo is a piece that you can’t miss in the lobby.

Living room

In the living room of the Covet House Douro, you will find an eclectic style of cabinets, bookcases, sofas and various coffee tables. They fit together yet all exude their unique style. For example, the Bohème safe by Boca do Lobo has a fun, vintage vibe while the Monocles drinks cabinet by Essential Home exudes a more refined and elegant, mid-century style. There are also multiple options for seatings from the Gable single sofa by Essential Home to the Maya sofa by Brabbu. Also, the little details can’t be forgotten like the beautiful artistry that was used to make the Lallan and Manuka center tables by Brabbu.

Fireplace

In front of the cosy fireplace at Covet House Douro, we find the beautiful Wales sofas by Brabbu that add a nice splash of colour to the room. Straight above them hangs the wondrous Matheny V chandelier by Delightfull that will take your breath away. More of to the side you will see the Symphony sideboard by Boca do Lobo that not only serves as a place to stow away things, but also functions as a division between the fireplace area and the dining room area.

Dining room

In the middle of the dining room at Covet House Douro, the Empire dining table by Boca do Lobo stands proud. Surrounding the dining table are the N°11 dining chairs also by Boca do Lobo. The beautiful craftsmanship of the chairs only draws more attention to the dining table and the curiosity to sit and eat at this sophisticated dining table. Of course, no dining room is complete without an exquisite lighting piece. The Charles suspension lamp by Delightfull provides ample light and a nice addition to the decor of the dining room.

Guest bathroom

Within the ground floor guest bathroom of Covet House Douro, the Petra Washbasin by Maison Valentina gives a unique vibe and nice contrast to the black interior. The Veneto mirror by Boca do Lobo gives a nice luxury finish.

Boca do Lobo suite

On the first floor of the Covet House Douro, we find 4 suites that are dedicated to 4 brands. The first we visit is the Boca do Lobo suite. Upon entering the Filigree mirror draws our attention, the beautiful, handcrafted piece with ancient Portuguese techniques is a marvellous piece that fits perfectly in the style of the suite.

The first room houses the Mondrian sideboard which is more a piece of art and fits nicely in the decor. Above it, we see the Phong wall lamps by Brabbu that is probably one of our favourite lighting pieces in the house. Behind the bed you can see the Coleccionista bookcase, you already could admire earlier in the living room. Of course, a chair is a necessity in a bedroom and the Dandrige armchair by Essential Home is a nice addition to the room.

In the second room, we find a small living room area with the Imperfectio sofa and the incredible Eden center table. Against the wall, we can also admire the amazing Heritage sepia sideboard that uses the Portuguese technique of hand-painted azelujo tiles in combination with brass stripes. Also, this room has some amazing lighting pieces, but the Amy floor lamp by Delightfull is the one that complements the room the best!

Essential Home suite

The Essential home suite at Covet House Douro only consist of one bedroom but has some amazing designs you should see like the incredible Sophia bed, which was inspired by Sophia Loren. This mid-century designed bedroom also has the famous Monocles sideboard, it is the perfect retro finish to the room. The Jackson floor lamp by Delightfull in the same mid-century style completes the look of the room.

KOKET suite

The first room of the KOKET suite at Covet House Douro is a beautiful and elegant bedroom. The bed by KOKET is the Kelly bed, which was more than likely inspired by Grace Kelly. Another furniture piece that takes your attention is the Zeba Chaise Longue. Its sleek and elegant curves fit perfectly in this romantic bedroom. A last piece that is a must-see is the Poem chest of drawers that can also function as a sideboard or bed end.

The second room dedicated to KOKET is a small sitting room with the impressive Heive Armoire, you could have admired at ICFF this year and the elegant Envy chaise longue. Adding a beautiful finish to the room is the Rêve mirror which is a literal dream to look at.

Brabbu suite

The last suite we visit at Covet House Douro is the Brabbu suite, which consists of only one twin bedroom. Grabbing our attention in the room is the Niku floor lamp, this exotic lighting piece inspires movement in the room. A more subdued but still luxurious piece is the Kayan round mirror. The brass structure around the mirror shows the craftsmanship and artistry put into the piece. Underneath the mirror, we see the strong design of the Cassis console table with its dark wood it brings a touch of nature to the room.

The Cave

Of course, the best is kept for last. Inside the Cave at Covet House Douro, there are several seating areas with wonderful couches, sofas, armchairs, etc. from the Covet House collection but what draws our attention is the Royal Snooker table by Boca do Lobo which makes this more of a man cave. We also can admire the incredible Baron safe by Boca do Lobo which gives safes a beautiful and safe design.

At the other side of the room, the Stardust floor lamp by Delightfull is not only a functional lighting piece but also a marvellous design to give a special vibe to the room. Next, to this room, we find the bar area of Covet House Douro with the masterfully crafted Kelly bar chairs by Essential Home and the complementary Janis bar tables, also by Essential Home.

Next to the bar is another guest bathroom with the Diamond towel rack by Maison Valentina, which is a bathroom accessory you can’t miss. The Metropolitan vanity and washbasin by Maison Valentina made in nero marquina marble are luxurious pieces that elevate the design of the bathroom to a next level.
