It is only one more month to go, but we are already counting down the days towards the ICFF trade fair. From the 19th of May till the 22nd of May, New York City will be all about design and luxury. This year is also the 30th edition, and here is everything you surely don’t want to miss!!

What is ICFF
The ICFF is North America’s biggest platform for global design. Here, many designers present their best designs but also what is the future of luxury design. You can find everything from furniture and lighting to textiles and wall coverings. The past three edition they already more than doubled their reach and become an even more international oriented platform. With over 38.000 attendees yearly and 900 exhibitors from over 60 countries, they already are a great platform for your newest developments, however online they have a following of 67.000 people, which will only rise with the editions to come.

The main attendees for ICFF are architects, interior designers, developers etc. But on Wednesday 22nd of May, the fair is open to the public and design enthusiast from all over are welcome to attend.

The Milk Stand presented by Design Milk
The Milk Stand is a pop-up shop by Design Milk which has been featuring independent designers and makers over the last five years at ICFF. They are specialized in everything that includes home decor but also everything from ceramics to textiles. This year they feature 15 independent designers and makers, for visitors, it is the perfect booth to collect a souvenir to bring home!

Ventura New York – the Dutch edition
Over 2.500 square feet, the best brands and designers from The Netherlands will present the best Dutch designs. With a focus on vision and innovation as only the Dutch can, they respond to the changing design landscape with amazingly creative design concepts and research-based projects.

Contract @ICFF
New this year is the ICFF Contract. Sponsored by Contract magazine, this space at the fair is dedicated to designers who want to improve commercial spaces. You can find products that range from lighting and furniture to seating and all kinds of materials. Some well-known participants are Bernhardt Design, Kartell, Arper, …

ICFF Studio
ICFF has been able to foresee the future of design for the past 30 years. To keep this advantage they have a 14-year partnership with Bernhardt Design, otherwise known as the ICFF Studio competition. The competition is to bring forth the upcoming designers and the newest innovations in design. Winners of last year included:

ICFF Schools
Besides the many accomplished designers, you can also get to know the designs of top design schools worldwide. With the ICFF Schools program, students get to showcase their best design works and tackle design concepts that will change the future. For students, it is an opportunity to get recognised for their work, for brands it is the ideal place to see where the future might take us.

ICFF Gallery
At ICFF Gallery, you can find the work from over 60 galleries, artists and designers, both new and upcoming designers to the most outstanding international galleries, they will all be there.

Constellation Awards presented by Contract magazine
Besides the ICCF Contract, there is also the first ever edition of the Constellation Awards which will be presented by Contract magazine. Their competition is open to all ICFF exhibitors and the categories range from commercial to residential and hospitality design. Want to know the winner? NYCxDESIGN Awards & ICFF Party
For the fourth time, you can attend the prestigious NYCxDESIGN Awards & ICFF Party. Together with Interior Design Magazine, ICFF will present the award honours outstanding products and projects from all categories in the design industry whether it be architecture or crafts, accessories or technologies, the best of the best deserves to be put in the spotlight that night.
