Another Spanish brand that is more well-known is Lladró. For over 60 years they have been unparalleled in the making of porcelain. Their know-how is translated in every handcrafted piece by sculptors and artisans. The combination of age-old techniques and a variety of colours give their product a unique creative potential. However, what Lladró is most known for at ICFF is the NYCxDESIGN award show. The awards that are being handed out are designed and made by Lladró and each piece is unique.
Lastly, this year Lladró is also launching their Nightbloom collection at ICFF which was made in collaboration with Marcel Wanders and his Dutch design studio. The brand is launching a striking lighting collection that includes a ceiling pendant lamp, a floor lamp, a desk lamp and a wall lamp with a three-dimensional relief pattern. The collection all exist out of flower designs and the petals ensure optimal use of light.
