As a part of NYCxDESIGN, WantedDesign has used its platform since 2015 to promote design with their two marquees events. One in Brooklyn at the Industry City and the other in Manhattan at their Terminal stores. You can attend interactive exhibitions and showcases, take part in seminars and design workshops. Their ultimate goal is to provide a communal space for international communities to converge and discuss design and innovations in the sector.

Take up space – Collins project
Each year there is one exhibit at WantedDesign that stands out and this year it is the “Take up space” art show by an all-female public by the Collision project. This dynamic hub tries to help artists express their art as an experience and not objects with their exhibit of “Take up space”, they quite literally let female artists take over Industry City with painted murals and
Design transforms
Another event that is sure to draw lots of attention this year is the live exhibition by Brazilian designer Humberto Campana and the London art university. At the exhibit, visitors can become active participants and co-create something wonderfully.
